The last party guest!

Last week when I was making collages for Emmitt's party I found that I needed one more child to finish my third collage...

Just one more to make it complete...

Who would it be?

Because I was having trouble deciding I put a note about my need on the Reece's Rainbow Facebook group...

Hoping someone would choose for me!

I had a few party guests that still needed to be featured in a blog post before the party day arrived...

So I set to work hoping that the last child would be chosen in time to be included in the post!

But it didn't happen...

So I decided to choose one myself so I could include the child in my post!

My choice was sweet Yasmine!

Just look at her eyes!

She is a sweet girl who faces transfer to an institution soon...

But totally does not belong there!

She is described as a "walking sunshine"!

Oh how she needs a family!

(You can read more about Yasmine HERE)

So Yasmine joined the party...

And I was able to include her in the last post before the party!

Her sweet face made it possible for me to complete that third collage...

And I went to bed.

The next morning I found a wonderful reply on my Facebook post...

Another sweet guest had joined the party!

An absolutely darling little boy...

Navid 1

Precious Navid!

Just look at that beautiful smile...

If only his Mama could see it!

Navid is a cheerful happy boy...

Unfortunately he is confined to wheelchair most of the time because he has cerebral palsy...

So he doesn't get to play as much as some of the other children :(

He is a bright and intelligent boy...

Imagine how he would thrive in a family!

Someone once took him for stroll outside where he had the opportunity to look through the fence for a glimpse at the world outside his orphanage grounds...

This person saw a longing in his eyes to go outside that fence :(

Navid 1

And who could blame him?

Every child deserves a life outside the fence...

And Navid is no exception!

Could he be your son?

Could you be the one to fulfill his desire to see the world outside?

Could you be the one to make sure he has therapy to maximize his potential for independence?

Better yet...

Could you be the one to give him the best gift of all...

The gift of your love...

The gift of a forever family?

Navid 1

He's waiting to fill your life with the sunshine of his smile!

You can read more about Navid HERE!

*****

Since my collage was already full...

Sweet Navid got the privilege of being in a special collage with just him and the birthday boy...

And give Emmitt his birthday hug!

I'm so glad he joined the party!

Thanks so much Marine for inviting him!

*****

The party is over...

But I decided sweet Leo needed a place on my sidebar too!

Despite his lovely smile...

And despite the fact that his needs are mostly physical...

Leo has been living in a mental institution for several years :(

No chance for an education...

Insufficient therapy to meet his needs...

Oh how he needs to get out!

He's already 10 years old...

His childhood is wasting away while he waits for a family to find him and set him free :(

Will you help Leo by sharing his face with others?

You never know...

One of your friends might be the family he's waiting for...

They just haven't found him yet!

You can read more about Leo HERE.

You can learn more about the adoption process HERE.

*****

The party is over...

But Emmitt is not home yet so...

I'm leaving my sidebar open for more additions!

I've just changed the sidebar heading to "Emmitt's Friends!"

If you have a special child you'd like to see on my sidebar just donate $5 to Emmitt's adoption grant fund and let me know which child you would like me to add by commenting on this post or by e-mailing Pam at savinghissparrows@gmail.com

I will also include your chosen child in an upcoming blog post!

Please continue to pray that Emmitt will be able to be adopted soon!

He's worth it...

Let's get him home!

Happy Birthday Emmitt!!! - You are LOVED!

My dear Emmitt...

Your special day is here!

You are 15 years old today!

And though the day may go unnoticed in the institution where you live...

We're celebrating your life here!

And though you may feel lonely...

And think no one knows you're there...

You have some friends around the world who love you...

And are trying to get you out!

We're spreading the word...

And sharing your face...

And praying you'll soon be free!

To let you know how special you are...

And help raise money for your ransom...

Your friends have invited the children below to attend your party today...

And have given some gifts to add to a fund that will help you come home we pray!

You are not alone!

We have you in our hearts!

You are...

Surrounded...

By...

LOVE!!!!
Keep up your courage sweet boy!

God has good plans for you!

We pray that someday very soon...

Your turn for a family will come!

Until that day may God keep you strong....

And safe in his own tender care!

And now I've asked sweet Navid to give you a big birthday hug from all of us!

Last post before the party!

His special day is coming!

Emmitt's Birthday's almost here!

But before it comes there are a few more little party guests I'd like to introduce to you!

The first two I'll show you just arrived this week!

Thanks so much Monica for inviting Sean and Joanie!

*****

First little Sean!

Isn't he sweet?

How in the world can a sweet one like this...

Have no Mama to call his own?

No Papa to give him big bear hugs...

Or give him a ride on his shoulders!

I think the picture's a little bit old...

Cause he's now already 2 years old!

That's 2 years too long to be without...

The love only families bring!

Sweet little one...

I hope someday soon...

You will have a home of your own!

*****

Then there is Joanie...

Oh so cute!

With a BIG white bow in her hair!

They say where she lives that the bigger the bow...

The better the child is loved!

That means dear sweet Joanie must have a kind Nanny...

Who thinks she's extra special!

But sadly a Nanny's not the same as a Mom...

Because Nannies go home when their shift is done...

While the kids must remain at the orphan home and wait till they come again :(

What would it be like to have a Mom of her own...

A Mom who doesn't leave to go home at night...

And leave her behind each day?

To have a Mom that would take her home and tuck her in bed at night...

With a prayer and a kiss and goodnight hug...

And the words - Just call if you need me!

I'm just down the hall and I'll come right away...

Cause your my own special girl...

And I love you SOOOO much...

And I'll always be here for you!

*****

And now I'd like to show you a few more...

Some special ones to me :)

The first is Miss Carissa!

Oh this dear little girl...

Has had such a very sad life :(

She and her twin sister were sent to an orphanage to live when they were just little babies...

Then one day, oh joy, their auntie came and took them home with her!

What a wonderful thing...

But times must have been hard...

'Cause they didn't receive needed medical care and Carissa lost her sight :(

Then when the girls were 6 years old they had to go back to the orphanage again :(

And then oh how sad, she was separated from the one whom she'd had all her life...

Her own precious sister - her twin!

The sister could see but Carissa could not so they were sent to different orphanages...

And then  a family adopted the sister...

But Carissa was left behind :(

Poor Carissa was so ill with grief and fright at the changes in her life...

That she refused to eat :(

She nearly died of a broken heart...

She missed her sister so much!

Thankfully at the hospital she began to get better again...

But oh this sweet girl needs a home of her own...

A place to truly belong!

Please pray for her!

*****

And then there's "my" Janna...

With the sweet little smile...

Can you guess how this sweet girl lives?

Is she surrounded with laughter and love...

And a Mom and a Dad who adore her?

No, sadly, sadly this sweet child...

Spends her days LYING DOWN in bed :(

In a room where the days pass wearily by...

In monotonous repetition...

With nothing much to do :(

And a life spent in bed will always the fate of this dear little girl...

Unless...

A family will come...

And make her there own sweet daughter!

*****

Oh my little Jordan...

Who will see your face?

Who will notice that cute little twinkle...

Of mischief in your eyes?

Who will see the dear little boy that is waiting to be loved?

Who will recognize your value and make you their sweet son?

I hope they take a moment to look into your eyes today...

And realize that their home is missing...

Someone extra super special!

And that that someone's you!

*****

ColinColinColin...

Such sad eyes you have!

Have you lost all hope for a loving family?

Do you fear that no one ever sees you...

That know one knows you're there?

Do you fear that if they see you...

They'll just look the other way?

O dear, dear little Colin...

I hope you are mistaken!

I hope that someday very soon...

Someone will see your face...

And see behind those sad, sad eyes a special little boy...

And choose to run like crazy...

To get the paperwork done...

And cross the big wide ocean to bring you home at last!

Home where you will be loved forever...

And have the opportunity to know...

Just how very, very special God made YOU to be!

*****

And last for today please meet Yasmine!

She must be a joyful girl...

For they call her a "walking sunshine"!

But she's headed for the dark :(

Because her legs don't work quite right...

She'll soon be sent away...

From the orphange for children...

To an INSTITUTION grim :(

Oh please do help sweet Yasmine...

To find a home at last!

Is your home missing a little sunshine...

Is their room for Yasmine there?

Oh please don't let her light go out in a dreary institution!

If she can't be your own sweet child please share her with your friends...

And pray that this sweet sunshine finds a happy home at last!

*****

You can read more about any of these waiting children by clicking on their names in this post!

If you would like to learn more about the adoption process, please click HERE!

Even if you are not in a position to adopt...

Could you choose one child to put on your prayer list?

God knows who their families are...

And he can help them find them!

Emmitt's Birthday post is coming soon...

Super cute party guest alert!

Emmitt's birthday is coming soon...

And some super cute party guests have recently arrived!

Let me introduce...

This sweet pea had been at the party only 2 days...

When he appeared on the My Family Found Me Page!

And I hadn't even blogged about him yet!

One day soon little buddy...

You'll know what it's like to be snuggled...

And read to...

And hear lullabye's too!

Your life is about to change...

In a very GOOD way!

You can read about Copeland's new family or donate to help them bring him home HERE!

Next is sweet Maiya...

See her smiling for the camera?

Does she know it's her one chance to shine...

To show a glimpse of her personality?

Her one chance to be seen...

In hopes she'll be chosen to be somebody's child?

Let's not keep her waiting!

Please share Maiya and pray her Mama finds her soon!

You can read more about Maiya HERE.

Thank you Annie for inviting Maiya to the party!

*****

Then there's Dayton...

What a cute little face...

But do you see the sadness in his eyes?

Was he lonely or scared on that day...

When they snapped his sweet picture?

Was there anyone to comfort...

Or wipe his tears away?

Was there anyone to whisper...

Don't be afraid...

I love you!

I will keep you safe...

I will make you my son...

And never, ever, leave you!

Poor sweet Dayton...

Is waiting to hear those words!

Will you be the one to wipe his tears away...

And put a smile on his beautiful face?

You can read more about Dayton HERE.

Thank you Annie for inviting Dayton to the party too!

*****

And then there's dear little Marci...

What a cutie pie!

Imagine for a moment that she's your very own!

Can you see her playing with blocks on your living room floor...

Or feel her small hand in your own?

Can see her sweet face at your table...

Or feel her little head on your shoulder?

Oh the sweetness of a little child...

Is this sweet one yours?

You can see Marci's profile HERE.

Thank you Kathy for inviting Marci to the party!

*****
One more little cutie arrived this week...

Isn't he just precious?

Beautiful dark eyes...

The window to his heart!

Imagine what his life will be if no one chooses him?

He'll be stuck in bed for the rest of his life...

However short that is...

Can you stand the thought?

So cute, so sweet...

With the potential to love and thrive!

Oh how I hope that somewhere in this big wide world...

A mom and dad will see his face and know that he's their son!

If only he can receive the love...

And therapy he needs...

What a different life he'll have!

Please consider Ivan!

You can read Ivan's profile HERE!
